Effective 10/3/05

Since we are politically CONSERVATIVE we are the final arbiter of who is allowed to post in the discussion area. Liberals are allowed to post, but keep in mind, you are visiting a conservative forum - this is NOT a democracy.

Anyone who is a registered member of AmericanConservative may reply to any posting. We are not responsible for the content of any reply.

Of course we believe in the First Amendment, but that does not mean you can post any damn thing you want. The staff will determine what is acceptable. There are no absolutes.

We want this to be a free wheeling place where ideas and opinions are exchanged.

No trolling. Baiting and other malicious practices not tolerated.

Spam must be placed in the spam forum.

No one "entitled" to post. Staff reserves right to delete anything for the good of the forum.

The member feedback forum is where you are allowed to question any staff action or offer your suggestions, comments, complaints, etc.

The staff reserves the right to remove any posts if necessary, in their sole judgment, for the good of the forum. No one has an "entitlement" to post here. This forum is a publication, with editorial control vested in the staff. While the above guidelines outline our intentions for intervening only in specific cases, nothing above should be construed to limit the staff's absolute right to control the content of this forum. In particular, posts in violation of any law will always be deleted as we become aware of the violation.

Specific forum usage is as follows:

American Conservative Forum, the main event. Focus is on civil discussion.
